Hiring
The Menlo Digital Ahwatukee campus, targeting early 2027, is in its commissioning window now. An owner or contractor on one of the approved projects should book its commissioning lead before Menlo's team frees up and the next projects start calling the same people.
The 138 local commissioning engineers and technicians are the main pool below the agent level. Test mechanical and controls candidates on cooling in high heat, since experience from cooler climates doesn't always carry over.
For agents with Level 4 and 5 sign-off, plan to relocate some from outside the valley. Relocation into Phoenix works when it is in the first offer.
Method
Project stages come from public filings and news reports listed on the Phoenix tracker. Title counts are LinkedIn Sales Navigator searches by current job title in the Greater Phoenix Area, read November 4, 2026, so people doing commissioning work under another title are missed. A site's commissioning window is its stated delivery quarter and the two quarters before it. The electrician rate is from Davis-Bacon wage determination AZ20260039 for Maricopa County.
