Mechanical Cx
You have checked out and tested chillers, CRAHs, CRACs, pumps, cooling towers and air handlers, and you can walk a sequence from pre-functional checklists through functional performance tests and integrated systems testing.
Electrical Cx
You have commissioned medium and low voltage switchgear, UPS systems, generators, ATS and STS units and PDUs, and you are comfortable running load bank tests and failover scenarios on energized gear.
Controls and BMS validation
You have done point to point checkout, verified sequences of operation and tested BMS and EPMS alarms and trends, and you can tell a programming issue from a field device problem.
Cx Project Management
You have run the commissioning plan on a project: the schedule, test scripts, issues log, witness testing and turnover documentation, while keeping the owner, contractors and vendors moving toward the same date.

Controls and BAS technicians
If you have programmed or serviced building automation systems, you already understand points, sequences and trends, which is the core of controls commissioning.
NETA electrical testing technicians
Acceptance testing on breakers, relays, transformers and switchgear is the foundation electrical commissioning is built on.
OEM startup and field service (UPS, generators, chillers)
You have started up and serviced the exact equipment that commissioning scripts test, so you know how it should behave and how it fails.
Industrial and power generation commissioning
Plant commissioning teaches procedure, documentation and safety discipline that carry directly into mission critical work.
Navy nuclear and military power production
Operating critical power systems by procedure, with formal qualifications and a strict safety culture, is a strong match for data center commissioning.
