What you will do
- Monitor cluster dashboards and triage compute, network and storage alerts
- Reimage failed nodes, replace components and run burn-in tests
- Execute firmware upgrades, kernel patches and hardware replacements
- Coordinate data center smart-hands for physical work
- Track assets, RMAs and spare parts
- Rack, cable and bring up new nodes during expansions
What you bring
- 2+ years in systems administration, data center operations or a NOC
- Solid Ubuntu or RHEL administration
- Networking basics: TCP/IP, VLANs, switch configuration
- Comfort with racking, cabling and component replacement
- Willingness to work on-call and occasional off-hours maintenance
- Data center technician or smart-hands backgrounds welcome
- US work authorization
