What you will do
- Lead, mentor and grow a team of systems, network and storage operations engineers
- Own cluster uptime, incident response and on-call rotations across multiple sites
- Set operational standards for runbooks, change management, maintenance windows and postmortems
- Work with hardware vendors and data center providers on RMA, firmware and facility issues
- Drive capacity planning and cluster expansion with engineering and finance
- Report cluster health, utilization and reliability to leadership
What you bring
- 8+ years in infrastructure operations, including 2+ years managing technical teams
- Hands-on Linux systems administration at scale
- Experience running GPU clusters or large HPC or data center environments
- Familiarity with InfiniBand or high-performance networking
- Monitoring and automation tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana and Ansible
- Preferred: Slurm or Kubernetes on bare metal, data center power and cooling exposure, SRE practice
- US work authorization
