Our brand
Build the teams that bring compute online.
Critical Path Hiring exists for one reason: the schedule that puts megawatts into service does not wait for a hiring process. This is what we stand for, how we work, and who does the work.
Our mission
To make critical-path hiring predictable for the employers building and running digital infrastructure. Every day a commissioning lead, controls specialist or platform engineer seat sits open, a build slips and cost accrues. Our mission is to close those seats with people who hold up in a live electrical room or a degraded cluster, and to leave the employer with the market knowledge to hire faster next time.
What we believe about this market
Infrastructure talent is not a volume problem, it is a precision problem. The pools are small, geographically concentrated, and mostly employed. Generalist recruiting answers that with more outreach; we answer it with a better map, an honest read on compensation, and a shortlist small enough that every name is defensible.
Values
Six commitments that decide how we work.
These are operating rules, not slogans. Each one shows up in how an engagement is run.
Say the true thing first
If a role is not fillable as written, if the band is short of the market, or if a staffing firm is the better answer, you hear it in the first conversation, not after a month of silence.
One accountable person
The person who calibrates the role runs the research, the outreach, the screening and the offer. Nothing is handed to an account manager or a junior sourcer.
Narrow beats broad
Data center, GPU cloud and AI infrastructure only. The vocabulary, comp reality and market structure here take years to learn and do not transfer from generalist recruiting.
Judgment stays human
AI organizes market research and surfaces candidates faster than any team of sourcers. It never decides who gets submitted, and every screening decision is documented and owned.
The research is yours
Target universes, comp evidence, outreach messaging and pipeline notes transfer to your team when an engagement ends. It is part of the method, not a paid add-on.
Candidates are treated like adults
Real scope, real range, real constraint, and an answer either way. The engineers in this category are a small community, and a practice is only as good as its reputation inside it.
Team
Who actually does the work.
A deliberately small practice. You get the principal, an AI research layer that does the volume work, and a network of operators who validate it.
Czarina Tabayoyong
Founder & Principal Recruiter
More than 15 years of recruiting experience across technical recruiting across software, cloud infrastructure, platform, AI and ML, including cloud and data center architecture hiring at AWS Professional Services, high-volume recruiting across multiple job families at Amazon, and PMO and project delivery recruiting for hyperscale buildouts in Texas and Virginia. She calibrates every engagement and stays accountable through the start date.
The AI research layer
Mapping, not deciding
Market mapping, title and skill expansion, comp aggregation and pipeline tracking run on an AI-assisted workflow. It gives a solo practice the coverage of a research team, at hyperscaler speed, without adding layers between you and the person doing the work.
The advisor network
Referral and validation
A working network of commissioning agents, site leads, controls specialists, EPC managers and platform engineers across the U.S. markets we cover. They refer people, validate scope, and tell us what a band really looks like this quarter.
We do not staff engagements with junior sourcers, and we do not subcontract searches out. If capacity is not there for the work you need, you will be told that instead of being queued.
